Monday was a good day. Just basically did the usual. Cleaned, shopped, talked to the family! Then played some basketball!!! We also had a great FHE with the Looney's!
Tuesday was good. It was my five month mark and it was also the day that Kobe scored 81 points in 2006! Woo!! I also did my first District Meeting which seemed to go pretty well. The rest of the day was filled with appointments that fell through. So we headed to Walter's to play chess for the last time with him. We had to tell him that we can't play games anymore. Then I had a way good dinner with the Liebenhaut's! Holy moly that was some good stuff. I don't know what it was called. Then we OYM's before heading home.
Wednesday we helped Brother Feather's move his smaller stuff into his van. He also gave us a butt ton of food! Then we picked up Karsten to bring him to appointments that fell through. Went and contacted Sister Verdiano and talked to her and a couple other ladies for a bit. One was a non-member so I think we were there to plant a seed. She was very nice, but she wouldn't take a BOM. Then we had dinner with the Jones' and Dickson's in our ward. They are both really young couples.
Thursday was weekly planning and 3 appointments fell through. We ate at Sonny's and then went and had a lesson with the Tucker family. Worked hard trying to find people to teach. Then tried to finish weekly planning.
Friday we helped Brother Feather's with the big furniture and there was a lot!! After that, I got to do my first baptismal interview with Rosa. That was exciting! Then we took Brother Culligan to a lesson that fell through. He is a legit guy! Convert of 6 months and is in the National Guard. Then we had dinner with the Looney's. They made an all organic dinner and the chicken was way good!
Saturday was a really good day. First we started off at the flea market, but didn't find anyone.
Then we went and walked to some people’s houses and street contacted some people. We went and saw some less actives as well and talked to some nice people along the way. Then we tracted a bit and found a couple solid potentials. Then we taught Amanda. She is an investigator who came to church basically on her own and made her less active boyfriend come as well.
Sunday was Ward Conference and all of the lessons were way good and very inspiring. We also had a lunch with the Geiger's. Great food! Brother Geiger makes some way good meat loaf! Then we saw Brother Flannery at his home because his mother passed away so we wanted to go and see him and try to cheer him up. Then we went and saw France. She is a less active and her brother does hurdles at BYU and is the second fastest in the country apparently.
Love y'all back home!
